Eric Walker Eric Walker

Eric Walker began his career as an Actor in a Jack in the Box Commercial in1976. He enjoyed the experience so much that he finally persuaded his father Gene to let him try out for an agent in 1980. The first agent Eric interviewed with signed him. But acting did not come easy and after a couple of auditions and feedback from casting directors at the direction of Eric’s agent he began acting taking acting classes. Those classes paid off and within one year Eric began booking roles like the one of Dyan Cannon’s nephew in Having It All directed by Edward Zwick (Glory, Blood Diamond, I Am Sam, Shakespeare in Love.)

Later on Eric went on to star in two movies for George Lucas, Star Wars: The Ewok Adventure and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor. It was during this time that Eric love for behind the scenes work began as with the help of his friend Warwick Davis (Willow, All 5 Harry Potter films, Leprechaun)  as they began making a behind the scenes documentary about the making of the two ewok movies.

During his successful acting career Eric also starred in movies for Walt Disney, 20th Century Fox, Paramount, and MGM to name a few. He graduated from the Los Angeles High School for the Arts whose other distinguished alumni include, Corbin Bleu, Josh Groban, Anthony Anderson, and Jenna Elfman.

Eric began his career on the internet in the middle 1990’s with the formation of his first website printingsupplies.com which was later sold to a larger retail office supply store chain.

Utilizing his massive library of resources he then began looking for other ways to market not only media on the internet, but also business. Soon however the big internet dot com crash put all that on hold so Eric accepted an offer from retail giant Sears in their sales and marketing division.

Still having ideas and the internet bug bite still lingering, in late 2003 Eric left Sears and went back to the internet to start a website promoting Actors, Models, Singers, and Dancers to the entertainment industry called Show Biz Tools. This website is still active today and a popular resource among those artists looking for a way to break into show business. At the end of 2007, Eric began designing a special software programs for to promote a few artists that he knew and the end results formed Walker Media Group.
